Baw Baw Speckle Park

Our Story

Nestled in the hills of Yarragon, with an amazing view of the Baw Baw Ranges, Baw Baw Speckle Park was born.

Two life long friends Phil Ogrill and James Moyes along with his wife Carly and their two children Clancy and Bailey, made the choice after many conversations and plenty of research that Speckle Park were an outstanding breed with a considerable amount of great traits that appealed to both their farming operations.

Phil with his dairy farm on the Yarragon flats milking 500-600 head and James and Carly with their commercial herd of 200+ head of beef angus/shorthorn cross breeds.
Their initiation into Speckle Parks being at Scone in 2018 with the intention to come home with a bull or two, the boys were so impressed they dove head first and have never looked back.

Baw Baw Speckle Park now run two Embryo Transfer programs a year placing most embryos into our recipient cows fresh. Phil, James and Carly believe they have sourced some wonderful genetics in line with their breeding goals and are very proud to offer these beautiful breeds for sale.
